The Works Nightclub in Tempe, Arizona.
The clubs enterance greets the audience with two industrial strength Obelisks structures.
Old, rusted and distressed, the obelisks stands as a symbol of industrial power and strength.
Heat in the form of light is being exerted from the pressure of the structure above.
They tower 18 feet to the ceiling. The base alone is 4' X 4' X 4.5' in size. |
Light fixtures were designed to look like they were salvaged from a steel mill factory.
The light is yellowed and have a "shorted out" function.
They looked heavy, corroded with rust, rivets and their large scale gave it reality. |
