Berlin Cruz Bar under construction

The Works was inspired by the fall of the Soviet Union and its image forged in its hardship. The Cruz bar was inspired by the Berlin Wall. It seporated the two parts by a obscure enterance. This photo was taken in the middle of construction. The finished bar contained IBeams in the middle of the dance floor.

The Arms- In October 1992 a grand Holoween party was in the planning for over a year. Inspired by a scene from Jean Cocteau beauty and the beast c1946, I made a dozen arms which held candles. The arms were mounted in pairs on the wall and the tall and quite large candles were allowed to drip down past the hand.
