Damaged Joist In order for the roof to support the spa, an examination from a structural engineer was needed.
The engineer found the Joist and Scab had rotted away, leaving 15' of roof supported by only one side!

Repaired Joist Detailed drawings provided by an engineer layed out the repairs and modifications needed to support the spa above.
New Joists, Scab and blocking were installed.
