Site before project Structural repairs

This is the way the roof looks for the last 60 years. A severely slanted surface did not allow much in the way of partical useability. The roofing system (a membrane system) is in good shape but the roof is pitched twards the building, allowing the runoff to run against the building.

Water leaks over the last few decades has rotted away the connection supporting Joist to the Scab. This led to a dangerous support issue for the building and the deck roof. In order to allow the load of a deck with a 2 person Spa, this must be repaired. A structural engineer evaluated the problem and develope plans to repair and support the project. It took 4 days of repair to resolve these structural issues.
